Yacht charter Pula - Croatia
Yacht charter in Pula - cost
When planning a cruise budget, it is worth considering carefully the factors that have the greatest impact on the price of yacht rental in Croatia . Usually these are:
- boat size,
- its age and equipment,
- cruise date.
Take into account the fact that while the size of the yacht can be determined by the number of your crew, the other two elements can be freely modified. If you want a cheap yacht charter in Pula or another Croatian town, choose a slightly older vessel. The comfort of sailing will then be less, but the joy of being on the water - exactly the same. More on choosing the right boat can be found later in the article.
The issue that has the greatest impact on the price of yacht rental in Croatia, however, is the date of the cruise. Note that the sailing season in this country is very long. Even if you have school children sailing with you, it does not mean that you only have to consider July and August. In mid-June, the grades are already issued; on the other hand, in the first week of September, there is usually not much going on in lessons. In addition, there are long weekends: May weekend, Corpus Christi, etc. In short, even taking into account the school year, you have a lot of room for manoeuvre.
How much can you save with smart planning? To get an idea of what we're talking about, let's look at how much it costs to rent a yacht in Pula in different months of the year:
- in April you will pay only 1000-1100 euros for a three-cabin yacht,
- in June it will cost 1800-2000 euros,
- in full vacation, the same unit costs about 2,500 euros,
- in the first days of September - 2100-2200 euros.
What boat to rent?
Every sailing location has its own specifics, and Croatia is no exception. Most people planning to rent a yacht in Pula intend to sail with their family or a small group of friends. Most often, they are looking for two-cabin boats, because they do not need others. However, the increased demand for such units results in inflated prices. This means that when planning a yacht charter in Croatia , it is sometimes better to look for a larger, three-cabin unit: it will be cheaper, and at the same time it will provide your crew with much more space and comfort.

What is worth knowing about Pula?
Pula is a charming town located in the southern part of Istria. It is located on the Adriatic Sea and attracts tourists from all over the world. Coming to Pula, you can not only fall in love with the beautiful beaches, but also feel the Italian atmosphere: it is said that Pula is a Croatian city with an Italian heart. For the Romans, it was an administrative center from which they could rule the entire peninsula. To this day, we can admire the remains of ancient buildings.
When visiting the town, it is worth starting with the Amphitheater, which is compared to the Roman Colosseum. Gladiator fights, performances and even staging of sea battles were organized there. This does not mean, however, that the Amphitheater is currently empty. Festivals are held there, and the Roman walls have been visited by, among others, Andrea Bocelli, Elton John and Sting.
While walking around the city, it is also worth seeing the Sergius Arch, which was built to commemorate the deceased members of the Sergius family. The Arc de Triomphe is in very good condition, as are other Roman buildings, including The Temple of Octavian Augustus, which is over 2000 years old and still has utility functions.
Of course, not every traveler is a lover of monuments, but such people will find themselves equally well in Pula. The city attracts with its charm (and location), and the Mediterranean climate will encourage everyone, because who doesn't like nice weather on vacation? Pula is an ideal place for yachtsmen who can stop at various marinas when chartering a yacht.
One of the most popular ports is ACI Marina Pula, which it would be a sin not to mention. The natural marina has been operating since antiquity and is located in the bay between the peninsula and the breakwater. Although the port has been operating for years, it is very modern and has many amenities. You can reserve a place via the Internet, and in the port itself there is a reception with an exchange office, a restaurant and much more. However, the biggest advantage of ACI Marina is its distance from the airport, which is only 5 kilometers away.
ACI Marina Pula undoubtedly impresses us, but it is also worth mentioning Marina Veruda, who stole our hearts. Located in the bay of Verdua, the marina is sheltered from the wind and waves, providing sailors with peace of mind. Surrounded by lush vegetation, and beautifully illuminated in the evening, this is what Veruda is like. An ideal place for sailors and amateurs who are just starting their adventure. It is worth adding that Pula is a fantastic starting point. Apart from cruises along the Istrian coast, the most popular destination is Venice.
